Catherine O’Connor qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and worked with Matheson Solicitors, Dublin, Evans Dodd, London and O’Donnell Sweeney Evershed,  Dublin for a number of years.  Her time with these firms allowed Catherine build up a very strong knowledge and experience base in company law. 

Catherine was a partner with M.J. O’Connor Solicitors, Drinagh, Wexford from 1995 until 2017. She headed up their Commercial Department and managed an extensive litigation portfolio including personal injury, commercial and property disputes and licensing.  

Catherine has particular expertise in employment law having represented both employers and employees in a wide variety of cases before different fora. 

She has acted for lending institutions in relation to security work and more generally for various business and private clients in relation to property and commercial matters. 

Cormac Mullen has more than 18 years experience as a general practice solicitor, advising in relation to diverse and varied legal matters.    

He was a partner with M.J. O’Connor, Solicitors, Drinagh, Wexford from 2007 until 2017. He managed the firm’s Private Client Department.

Cormac’s principal areas of practice include residential and commercial property transactions; Wills, estate planning and probate matters; and farm and business family transfers.

Cormac has considerable experience in advising on the handing over of a family business or farm to the next generation and/or the structuring of a Will to provide for the passing of assets on death.   Careful planning and tax efficiency are often important elements to the success of these transactions.
